I am looking to buy an XK8 4.0 Auto 1998 on an R Plate with 59,000 miles and full Jag history.
I have heard about Jaguar Nikasil and Timing Chain Tensioner probs. Should I be worried about these? Are there any recalls the car should have had?
Basically any info/tips I should know to check prior to purhcase would be good from you fine people.
I am planning to have the car AA checked too, but you can never be too safe especially with a car like this.
Also I am based in Dover, Kent anyone know any independent Jaguar specialist in my area who can offer reasonably priced servicing etc?
