And when one sneezes, yuk....
That was my first thought. I have hayfever at the moment so I wouldn't be able to see where I was going after 5 mins. What a dick! Da modun world.
Then again, as an immigrant once said in the early 60s 'you could sell s
t to the Brits, as long as it wrapped up nicely.' I think he went on to make a fortune! He was right.
Anyway, where's Greta when you really need her?
When's the next Extinction Rebellion march against all this mass plastic usage? I'm sort of beginning to think I might join them.
Plastic usage must be increasing a 100 fold in this pandemic.
What is no laughing matter though is the mass use of it for screening in supermarkets etc.
I - unfortunately - forgot something on my shop yesterday so popped (well, not popped, f
king queued for a an age with a mixture of coughing, obese, mobile phone natterers, and other people from all walks of life) into Sainsbury's to grab what I'd forgotten.
Went through the self-checkouts as I had 'cash' (almost forgotten what the f
k it is?) as it was a smallish amount and I wanted to return to that old feeling of using 'cash'. Each self checkout now has huge plastic screening between every single self checkout.
Only some are card 'and cash'. First one I went to, because of screening, I was virtually touching other shoppers - who thought this out? - to get to a check out, stank of B.O.
Went to one on opposite side and that stank too.
All the continuous spraying and wiping and unwashed people is having a new effect of 'Pong and shop' - and probably germ ridden.
Couldn't wait to get out! The lockdown was preferable.

Greta has popped up on today’s BBC News, the covid virus has demonstrated how Governments can quickly adapt when needs must. Unsurprisingly extrapolating this to the environmental issues but completely ignoring the financial armageddon the World has been plunged into due to the covid 19.
Oh the ‘mask’ tele tubby thing, err no thanks.
