Afternoon

I've finally got around to fitting my CarPlay unit I bought 18 months ago(!). All powers up fine, I get a great radio signal etc, "woohoo!", thinks I.

But... The speakers aren't working.

The ISO adapter I bought ( https://www.dynamicsounds.co.uk/ct20po02-porsche-9... ) provides RCA connections to a red ISO block (circled yellow below) however, my car appears to have the speaker cables connected to the brown block circled in green below. This brown block doesn't fit anything in the ISO adapter, apart from one of the larger black blocks that has nothing wired into it.

Any ideas? I've googled a lot but can't find anything super helpful. As far as I know my car has the super-basic audio system - there's no amp in the front that I can see.

Have I simply got the wrong harness adapter? Do I need one of these instead?

Or even this? I don't think I need the CANBUS interface since the unit seems to work fine off the switched 12V source I've plumbed in...

I used a Connect2 loom converter. However it was originally described as being for VW cars. They may have Porsche specific now.
However, it did not have switched power as that can only be derived from a CANBUS interface or direct from the fuse box.

You've bought an amplified adapter but your car is sans amplifier - you can physically fit the brown plug in to the second aperture of the large black plug you've got pictured.

2 options, populate this second half of this ISO plug and it will work, or cut and shut a standard ISO adapter so that you have all parts needed.
