Why since C19 do pedestrians walk on the pavement?

Seems to happen all the time in my area. Even if there’s nobody else around, the preference is to walk in the road and reluctantly walk on the pavement when a car comes.

Inter to know if others are seeing the same thing?? And understand why???

I’ve seen this too.

I think the risk of death by vehicle collision far outweighs the risk of contracting and dieing from covid as a result of passing another pedestrian on the pavement

I cycled past a women earlier. I was on the road, she was on the pavement. She practically threw herself in a hedge

I saw a bloke put his arm across his face when I cycled past this morning.

All well and good, except he was in his car with all the windows closed.

At the beginning, with 99% of cars off the road - this was normal in our village. Now it's suicide!

Also loads of simpletons walking on wrong side down lanes. Most of the time they would have headphones in if on the wrong side!
