Windows and Bookmark Icons

How do you make them.

What size and format?

Where do you store them?

Both my brother and I need to know for two different applications.

Do a google for favicon.ico
Plenty of info there. I'll be back in a mo with alink to a site that makes them, then email it to you.

Thanks, but the icons we want are a bit difficult to do like that.

Would rather do something in corel etc and save it in the right format?

Where do I put it once it is done?

Upload it to your root server ie, in the same folder as your index page.

You can also make icons in any GFX package and save as name.ico. MS Paint is all you need. Icons are 30 x 30 pixels I think.

If you have Photoshop, you can create your icon graphic in that and then use the ICO Plugin to save you graphic in the icon .ico format.
