Audi 80 Cabriolet Final Edition

So I was watching a YouTube video Saturday evening about buying a car for a Grand to flip. (Featuring Mike Brewer)

He comes across a Audi 80 Cabriolet and I notice it is 10 minutes from me(IT is also SWMBO dream car)

I stupidly pause the video show her the car 10 minutes later booked to see it Sunday AM and now the custodian of this Audi.

Havent driven it (Apart from the test drive) and somehow I don't think I will get to drive it a lot.

So now have to sell the Golf GT TDI 150 we have had for Seven years!! Yes they are both Green

Great find..... lovely things and very easy to work on.
We had a black with red leather Final Edition too.... would love another.

It was funny as I didn't let on I had seen it.

When I bought it he admitted the video but was told about it.

Everything works the damage is not bad. Lots of lacquer peel and a small dent. Have a friend who owns a smart repair with full body shop.

Everything works and have managed to source a hardtop which I collect friday.

The aircon pump has been taken of the belt so will replace at some stage

He had offers but they wanted to break the car.

Good to see the car saved! I saw the Car Throttle vid - didn’t look in great shape but no doubt a great candidate for a light resto. Nothing much classier than an Audi 80 Convertible! Good luck with it - looking forward to the updates.
