How to Download Entire Website?
Discussion
Evening all, as title suggests, how would one download an entire webpage? I'm talking links, photos and all pages.
There's a site that's hosted on an old fs2.com page which i think may be Freeserve? Anyway it's a site that details the history of my local city, however it hasn't been updated in 7 years, all emails bounce back and I'm thinking perhaps the original webmaster has better things to do, or he's no longer with us... Thinking being that if it disappears from the net then I can host it somewhere.
Cheers

Get the wayback machine to archive the pages, if it hasn't already...

There's no easy "archive whole site" button, however.

If you have Linux, or a Linux VM, then wget could do it.
Also available for Windows, both as official CLIhttps://sourceforge.net/projects/gnuwin32/files/
or unofficial GUI

There's also this unofficial collection of unix command line tools that I've found convenient:

^^^This. Works on Windows so no messing about with Linux. Mostly just click and go, but if a bit more complexity needed can easily be configured.Gassing Station | Computers, Gadgets & Stuff | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
