Due to the new ( 1yr old) car which I only collected last week having to go into the dealers yesterday (not selling dealer as too far away) and we don't know when we will get it back.... I'm now going to have to insure two cars for a short time as the car we were VT with BMW is now needed to use so have had to cancel its collection for now.. Anyone used these temp online guys for insurance... Or any other suggestion.. Thanks

Have a look at ‘cuvva’ short term car insurance, have used them numerous times, so easy and you can insure by the hour..day..week etc, very reasonable don’t quite know how they do it, insured a car for 4 hours to drive home and cost me under £10

I've used Cuvva recently too, just took out 3 hours insurance to get a car home onto my drive that I had bought, worked well through their app and cost me £20 I believe. May be worth having a look on there

Another recommendation for the Cuvva app or Day Insure https://www.dayinsure.com/

Phone up your insurer and explain the situation. They may add a month or two on until it goes back for less than any of the temp guys especially if it's covid related uncertainty.
