The EV subforum
Discussion
As of today (June 22), the EV subforum has circa 70,000 posts.
This makes it bigger than...
All of the 'American Cars' subsections (though not totalled). Honda and Subaru, the Lotus Esprit and Evora, all individual Supercar subfora (though not the 'Supercar General'. Bigger than Alfa, Ariel, Ford, both Mini and MINI sections together, and is even catching up the PH favourite MX5 section!
It's clear plenty of people are talking about them, and I know the forum is for all EVs rather than specific models, but it still seems like they are picking up a lot of momentum. It doesn't seem that long ago that even the thought of such discussions on PH would be tantamount to heresy.
Personally, there are one or two ICE cars I would still like to experience, but I can't see myself ever buying another new ICE car. The family hack is electric and barring some unforseen paradigm shift it will be staying that way. The Hilux will be going too if Musk brings the Cybertruck to the UK.
No real point to make, more a general musing. YMMV (literally), etc etc.

Just tells you people love to argue on PH
It’s safe to EVs very much have momentum now and are being generally considered by a lot more people.
Especially since the default position of getting a diesel has now gone. With lots of push from government and manufacturers to go EV or hybrid.
It’s all new so quite a lot to debate.
