Looking for a bit of help; Have a 2015 F32 420i which upon startup, will emit white smoke. This clears quite quickly although the amount of smoke varies depending on how long its been sitting for. It otherwise drives fine.

I have searched online and found most pointing to a turbo feed line that allows oil to drip back into the turbo when the engine is off due to the lack of a valve. So the white smoke i'm seeing would be the oil burning off perhaps?

My questions:
1) Has anyone else had this issue, if so, was it as per what I've read online with the oil supply line? If not, please describe.
2) Has anyone been affected with a 2015 F32 or has it only been earlier cars? (I've read they changed engine from N20 to N26 but i may be wrong here)
3) Does anyone know a good garage in Essex who can deal with this?

  • I quick point on question 3; I've used Clive at Eastgate in Colchester (on the PH recommended Specialists section) before for something else and he was fantastic. However i have tried to call him a number of times over the past few days and there is no answer. Does anyone here know if he's closed shop or something?
