Problems with Amazon, they won't refund
Discussion
Have you a Prime account payable monthly? Usually when I have had the same issue you had (on items costing £15, £180 and £50) offering to cancel your Prime direct debit gets you to the next level of customer service bots, especially if this was a "marketplace" item.
I have had one item that took eight weeks to refund recently as Amazon wanted it back and it seemed to get stuck in a couriers depot according to the tracking, which was a bit unusual as all direct Amazon refunds / returns I have had in the past have happened when the return parcel is scanned into the return delivery network.

over three months of stress for £50 ?
Give it up and forget about it man.
+1Give it up and forget about it man.
No one wants to lose money but there comes a point when the stress and frustration far outweigh the monetary loss.
email Jeff https://www.inc.com/business-insider/amazon-founde... It's surprisingly effective in my experience

https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/help/customer/display....I know being obstructive and unhelpful with limited experience in the relevant areas is a fun game on the internet, but Amazon's A to Z guarantee covers specifically this and if they have acknowledged that a refund is due and has not been received (Point 3(iv)) then it should have been covered a long time back.
Amazon are indeed the right place to address these things as they have breached their own guarantee terms.

I personally only ever order from amazon directly and I've often had no problems with returns - infact once it's scanned by the local post office with the return postage label then I've immediately gotten my refund!
Pretty much my experience as well.If you deal direct with Amazon, customer protection appears to be bullet proof.
