Absolutely, and I think it is very unhelpful to consider oneself and others in such simplified terms.

The example that I've encountered repeatedly and found the most ridiculous is to be branded 'left' because one is able to note that trump is a corrupt, incompetent president, and a truly appalling person. It's not even slightly about being 'left' or 'right'...

The difference for those who are seemingly a bit challenged by this is that the cops are not supposed to be bad, nor are they supposed to be targeting specifc demographics at a higher rate per capita than others.
