respray wing mirrors?

Anyone got any prices for JUST respraying the wing mirrors? I'm guessing it's not worth the cost and I should get them done at the same time as something else on the car (like a front-end respray)....

Personally, I'd do them myself if its just the mirrors. Can't be that hard on such a small object?

Sadly one of them is missing BIG chunks of paint - started off as a small chip and got bigger and bigger.

Not sure what colour your car is, but it looks as though it could be Crimson Starmist like mine. In which case yuou could have trouble getting the paint.

It's pearlescent (Toyota) Satin Red - Hilton Coachworks did a really good colour match last year when I had a mini-offroad-excursion.

Well if you can get the paint, and I'm no expert, but it seems to me that removing the mirror, sanding it down, polishing it up, then priming and spraying it, shouldn't be too hard?

Doesn't really matter much if its not an exact match (due to ageing etc) as its disconnected from the bodywork and won't be as noticeable?

IIRC it cost £35 per mirror and was done in Bolton. Good job too by all accounts

Apparently they are up for an award in the "Max Power Awards" this year because they do a lot of work on fibreglass body kits for Saxos and stuff (Don't let it put you off). Matched my Lotus Azure Blue Pearl a treat

Dave used to work for the body shop that Bauer Millet use........so served his apprenticeship well.

Forgot to add, was £80 for the job, both mirrors filled, repaired and painted.
