Paint issue on potential new car

I have been to see a car this evening and noticed that at the bottom of the front bumper is this damage which appears to be caused by impact.

It’s on a Rapide so would need a tidy repair. The rest of the car is very clean with a fantastic history.

What would be the options for repair and how much do you think it will cost?

That's the result of a previous repair I'd be fairly certain, and it looks a pig of a colour to blend in.

Wouldn't be cheap to repair to standard I'd be happy with, so obviously needs to be factored into the price of the car.

My mate had something similar on his Jag when he hit a dog. Due to the deformation of the plastic It needed a new bumper!

easy enough repair

price will range from £100-£200 plus vat

Some may want to charge even more they will say have to remove bumper strip all parts then complete paint

But you should be able to get a decent repair in the figures mentioned

Looks like impact damage to me.

Looks like a stress fracture of the clear coat from where I'm sat. Did you check underneath the bumper under this area to see if it's damaged underneath - high kerb strike or similar.

As above should be relatively easy to remedy.
