who in beds/herts for service?

can any one recommend a specialist in my area for service/tuning on my 340. im sure its running a bit out of tune, sometimes dies whem i blip the accelerator. i live between luton and bedford.

Didn't know there were any 340R's near me...my S2 is often in Clophill, and I drive home thru Woburn. Anyway, the nearest we've got is Brooke Kensington in Bicester (if you arrange it right, you can get an Elise as a courtesy car!), or Castle Lotus over in Stansted.

Dave Andrews is in MK (www.dvapower.co.uk/) but I dunno if he can offer the kind of service you need? Might be worth a phone call.

youd be suprised whats around, there was a 340r in hitchin until it caught fire!! theres a rolling road place in luton but id like some one very familiar with the lotus k series. i was in clophill fri pm myself.

Theres loads around, BLOC (Bedford Lotus Owners Club or Beers, Lotus, Occasional Curry) has quite a few members and does beer/curry/talk cars nights as well as runs etc.

They are on SELOC a fair bit.

As for servicing, I use Merritts in Amersham, but I hear a whisper there will soon be an offical dealer in Milton Keynes.
