Folks,

I hope that everybody is well in these interesting times.

Today, I finally collected my new toy: a Crimson Starmist Chimaera 500. Nice drive smile

When I came home, I encountered the first interesting moment: I’ve pushed the button on the remote control and the car gave me a blink, but all the doors did not lock. In other words, I had the feeling that the car signalled that it was locked by blinking, but when I push the button/door opener under the mirror, the door opened.

Somehow, this matches with the following thing. The button on the inside door opener also doesn’t work as I would have expected it, i.e. when you sit in the car and push the button inside, the central locking wheel not lock the car.

Anyone any ideas about what the reason for this interesting behaviour of the little beauty might be?

Cheers,

Max

I believe it identifies if the doors are shut by the courtesy light buttons in the sills first each door. Make sure these are engaging properly

Were both doors fully closed? This will prevent locking.
The door switches down in the door sills become corroded and give the same problem. One screw to remove the switch and a quick clean of the contacts will likely solve the problem.
