Romain,

Absolutely georgeous car. I saw you in Rouen on the way down to LeMans (I was in the red T350).

First new 'S' I've seen, and must say, I'm more than a little tempted.

How did it go in LeMans ? No problems ? Mine was fine apart from until we got to the Circuit when steam started coming through the air vents. Soon cooled down though.

Very nice indeed!

But as you live in southern France, how will you be getting it serviced?

In fact did you not have to get its first service done half the way back to Cannes?

As you can see on the car, it is the first demonstrator for France and i m the importor (my name is Romain Rousseaux) and with an english man called John Brittain, then the first service will be in our garage in Opio (10km from Cannes)the mecanics are three english people trained for Rolls Royce, Jaguar and now TVR! I didn't tell you before but now i have it and if anybody of you plan a trip down to Cannes don't hesitate to come to see us if anything happens on your car or NOT! I will be very happy and proud to receive some TVR owners!!! A club and a website are in progress, then that means that we are going to organize track days, meetings, road trip (why not)...

About the red T350, your car is gorgeous i have a picture of it with the bonnet of my tusc! (i sent it to my girlfriend who is in love with the t350!!!) The trip to LeMans was great, people was amazed by the color of the car and the car itself of course, we managed to get into the cathedrale parking just a moment before the official Tuscan convertible and had to get it out on the next parking (in front of the cathedrale) and the croud was still in front of it! (not easy to get out of the parking, everybody was in front of the car! crazy!).

The car doesn t have ANY problems, it works perfectly, the engine, gear box (very stiffy the first day!) now very good, any problems with the pod! That s a perfect car! It was one ofthe best (if it s not THE best!!) day of my life when i saw the car on the ramp at the factory! I will never forget it and it s just the beginning!

I m really happy, proud and very excited to be part of the TVR world and of course to represant my favorite brand in France and Monaco!

P.S: TVR will appear very soon in some french magazines and on Motors TV, i will scan the articles and post it on Pistonheads of course!
If you need any details or informations about us, just send an email

I M IN LOVE WITH TVR!!!!

Funnily enough, Spectraflaire Topaz was designed for me having loved my previous Crystal Topaz but wanting something different but still keeping my PH name. I checked with the paint guru at Blackpool who said it definitely is still available.
I love my car!

Roman, fantastic news! I'm so glad that TVR have a new importer in France! I'm in Essonne (91) but am seriously considering coming down to Cannes to see you and the Mk2!

By the way, what's the latest on homologation for the very difficult French authorities (ils sont vraiment penible!!!) do you have a French carte gris and do you have French insurance or is this handled from Monaco?

Best Regards
Driller

Hello Driller!
If you can, come to see us in Cannes! The car will be registered in french plates during the week! And in term of homologations, it s a bit long to explain on a forum! The insurance is a french one, no problem i m partner with them.
What i suggest you is to call me, take a look at this link (www.tvr-france.com), you will find my number...
Then i will explain you all in details!
Cheers
Romain
