I can’t be sure but they look like water spots to me. What pad and polish combo are you using? I use Koch Chemie FSE to get rid of stubborn water spotting after cleaning. If that doesn’t work then you might have to ramp up the polish and pad to allow a better cut.
I used the Menzerna compound pad with the Menzerna 400 compound. Belle427 said:
Had a similar problem on one of our Family cars and koch chemie Fse would not touch them.
I think it happened as water beads sat on the paint after a shower and the sun baked through them, red is a nightmare for this.
A local body shop that painted the car machine polished it.
I’ve tried most detailing things on it and they won’t go I think it happened as water beads sat on the paint after a shower and the sun baked through them, red is a nightmare for this.

That’s odd as that combo should have shifted stubborn water spots. I’d be tempted to get it back to the dealer if it’s brand new. It could be an issue with the paint rather than the clear coat.
That’s what I’m thinking too maybe the paint reacted or something or the panel wasn’t clean when painted. I think I might wet sand that area and see if that removes themEdited by Alex.L21 on Monday 29th June 13:55

Wet sanding seems a bit drastic if it’s brand new. The dealership won’t want to know after you’ve taken sandpaper to it, although one could argue they might not know if you polish out the sanding marks.
^^This. If it's a brand new car surely it's safest (in terms of warranty etc.) to just let the garage do it.Gassing Station | Bodywork & Detailing | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
