Best cool car for 1k

Hi everyone, a friend and I are looking to buy a cool car and we’re just wondering for suggestions, probably around 1k. It doesn’t have to be a daily driver or something sensible as I already have cars for it’s just gonna be a toy.

MX5 cool enough. Should get a driving example for around a grand and there's tons of after market stuff for them.

I considered that but it’d have to be a mk2. Still a good shout though

Toyota Celica it won't be a t sport model though, you might be able to find a MK3 mr2 but it could potentially be an oil burner at that price.
Or maybe an MG tf

Depends how you define fun!

Jimny or an old series 3 landy can be great fun if you take them off road.

On road mx5 every time, although it may need welding up on the sills.
