Looking for a comfy saloon for my father his requirments is a diesel saloon got to be solid and reliable with good back seats, some ideas have been a 3 series or Passat any ideas also if i could find something unique it would be amazing like an alpine or something thanks

Mondeo ST220 for fun and a Lexus LS for mileage? Both probably for £10k

Other than that I’d probably have a good look at an Audi A8 with the right spec...

Mondeo I woul love not my father the Lexus is a good one although the old ones are all drift missiles now and the new ones too expensive the A8 is the best one so far little over budget and tax on old ones is a lot but great pick

Cls is a good one love the shape

I would definitely consider a Jag XF 3.0 S. 275bhp twin turbo diesel. Goes like the clappers with unreal amounts of comfort and refinement! Go for the portfolio S model.
