Still one of my favourite sound engines.

The lovely sound was the best bit about the mk3 VR6.

They were more tourer than hot hatch- gearing was ridiculously tall which stunted power delivery & made it feel very ‘16v’ in terms of how it delivered it

I have to agree that the gearing was long, but thought that the handling was better than my mk1 3.2 TT. The noise of the V6 is fab 👍🏻

Agreed that I need to invest in a really good in-car mount to stop that annoying vibration at higher speeds!
