Email notification of post to thread

Is it possible to get notified by email of posts to a thread? If so, how does one go about setting it up?

Pistonheads is held together with sticky tape and hamster power. Your lucky it highlights when someones posted on a thread you commented on.

If you start the thread, there's a box you can tick at the bottom to receive notice of replies to your thread, or did you mean receive notification of replies to threads to which you have contributed?

At the moment, I'm afraid not so you'll have to continue using My Stuff to see when threads are updated that you've contributed to.

As sunbeam alpine has said, we currently only have the ability for you to get email notifications if you're the OP. We are considering this as a future development but I can't give any idea on timescale yet.

Thank you. I am the OP of the thread I had in mind but didn’t hit the box by mistake. I don’t seem to be able to retroactively tick it. It’s on my recent AMA and I’d like to be notified of replies so I can follow up promptly.

Unless you subscribe when you start the thread, there's currently no way of switching on email notifications unfortunately.
