We have Sky Q and the wifi signal reaches onto the patio (just) but wanting a connection at the end of the garden. Can I add an arial to the Sky mini box?

Thanks.

Might be better if with a hardline adapter instead if that’s possible.

I have exactly this issue. My solution is to use a neighbour's BT Guest Wifi which, despite being 4 times the distance than the Sky Router, gives a solid 20mb download speed when I can't even connect to Sky.

Sky do use booster boxes for Q (I think they're the wifi boosters for broadband but they also do SkyQ mesh), they installed 2 for us when they installed originally, can you ask for one?

I'm not at all impressed with the wifi capabilities of the Sky Q miniboxes and boosters - they seem woefully weak.

An option might be to connect a extender / repeater to the Sky Q device which is closest to the back of the house.

If you have an old router kicking about, you may be able to configure this as an access point and find it gives you a lot more range than your current configuration.

Anyone else done this? I know that Sky can be a bit funny adding none sky routers etc.
