I'm looking for a bit of help please.
My father has recently found the below photographs of my grandfather taken at the Tidworth Millitary Tatoo in 1936.
My grandfather is playing William Wallace in a reenactment of the 1298 Battle Of Falkirk.
I was wondering if anyone would be able to remove the photographer and the writing in the group picture and be able to either colour both the pictures or advise a suitable programme thats easy to use.

Before someone replaces your grandfather with Bobbers wearing blue gloves 
, a good site for colourising is https://colourise.sg/. Not sure if it will work with sepia photos, you may need to greyscale them first.

I've tried a couple of different sites but they seem really complicated but dont think that is one i've tried.
I know there is always the chance of someone having a laugh with photoshop but you never know , there are still some helpful people on here.

Good old Bobbers Bravefart! 
On that first picture, it might be the crinkled paper in the top corner confusing the colourise script. If the script works by seeing sky, ground and objects in a photo, the creases might be stopping it from registering the top as sky and working properly. It works well on the second picture though.

It's quite light in contrast too.
