It took five months for the engine rebuild...!!!
The chassis was started just two weeks ago, both front top rails from bell housing to front cross member cut out because of serious pitting and some small holes.
Has had two new rails welded back in and is such a good job you really would'nt know even before the powder coat went on.(colour chosen just for the hell of it)
New poly bushes all round.New nickel plated nitrons plus springs about to go on.
Should hopefully by end of this week have engine back in and body mated to chassis.
Quite a few additional items being fitted too..
Can't wait to get him back its been nine months..
Hope all goes well with yours its a nightmare being without when the weather is this nice.

So it was yours, (re: another thread):
Whilst I was picking up my 500 after some minor engine & induction work, I was shown your car in all its bits & glory, Perry & his guys had done thier usual excellent work. I agree you could not tell the section of chassis they had replaced, It will be a nice motor when finished.
Steve.

I too saw your bare chassis in all its glory. It was amazing how they replaced the tubes. You really couldn't see a join.
Just had my S3 trailing arm refurbished and chassis powdercoated by the guys at the V8 Centre and a fine job they did.
Although I went for the original red..!!
