Aston Martin DB9 roof latch problem
Discussion
Hello folks, was hoping for some advice on a recent problem I’ve started having on my 2006 DB9. In summary, the roof latch motor is not operating to lock/unlock. I have been able to do this manually, and the rest of the roof operation works fine. I’ve had to change the tonneau latch motors, cables and relays so the problem is not the common one shared by other users here.
There is no voltage at the motor connector during the roof opening/closing process so I’m trying to identify the source of the issue. The cabling is complex and runs inside the roof into the trunk. All the fuses and relays are in working order so I’m scratching my head trying to figure this out. I also have a new CRM I had fitted a couple of years ago and there are no other problems other than the roof latch.
If anyone has any experience of this I’d greatly appreciate your advice here!!
