Anyone ordered one yet? Thinking about getting another bike for the weekends.

They are pretty smart looking, and that paralell twin engine is a punchy motor (sounds good too).

Would happily have one for commuting myself, any of the 700cc twins from yamaha make a great bike (maybe budget for better suspension though)

It's an epic-looking thing, but I don't really get how you would use it in the UK... If it's just for the road why not buy an MT07 Tracer and spend the extra cash on suspension?

If you had miles of gravel roads to use it on (e.g. Canada) that'd be a different prospect of course.

Mainly for looks I suppose. Looks better than the MT07 smile but I do like the enduro/supermoto look anyway.

Sadly I agree, it looks great but would need to spend a lot of time somewhere more offroad friendly for it to make sense.

Can't argue with that, it looks awesome. I really like the dash screen made to look like the old Dakar pace note boxes too.

Tracer is a good shout and as you say brilliant prospect for most UK areas. The Tenere might be good in rural areas where you can take a shortcut to work across fields.

Looks cool, but I'd go MT07 as then you have proper road tyres on it, as i'd not bother off road on it. There's better off road stuff in my garage!
It does look well cool though.

Thanks for the video link. Damn those features that create benefits I really don't have any need for.

Haven't the MCC that organise the Lands End trial got a new class for stuff like this Tenere 700 and KTM 790 Adv?

Love, love, love his motorbike videos. The production and quality is outstanding given there are only 2-3 people who make his videos. By far my favourite of his is on the H2SX with the top gun vibe! https://youtu.be/DkPMj9iSB2Q

Agreed, watched most of his stuff from the last year but that was great.
