To cut a long story short... this is a really pants deal - right?
It ends up costing you 570pcm in reality - right?
The GFV looks really low. I am definitely buying one in 2022 with 16k miles for £16.5k..!

Total payable = 29,995
Balloon = 16,470
Payments made before balloon = £13,525 (29,995-16,470)
Over 24 months = £563.54 per month (13,525 / 24)

It's a £30,000 car on 0% finance. It ends up costing you 570pcm in reality - right?

Unless you are able to get the dealer down on the RRP while still maintaining 0% finance, I don't think that you are going to get it any cheaper with this form of finance.
Therefore, on the face of it, it looks like an OK deal, assuming that you are happy paying £30,000 for a Yaris in the first place.
Leasing might get you lower monthly payments but the general down sides with leasing is that you are tied in for the whole lease term, are subject to mileage limits, and you can't own the car at the end of the term.
YMMV.
I very much doubt you will be able to buy a 2 year old one for 16.5k. Prices of other such cars seem to be holding up really well.
Maybe there would be a good deal of equity left at the end of that?
I just looked at the Yaris grmn on autotrader as they came out in 2018. There are 3 for sale at between £23-£24k. I'm sure they were about £26k brand new?

I can't see this model being discounted heavily by the dealers so if you want the Yaris GR, surely this is a good deal? I think the value in the car would be much more than £16k at the end of 2 years so I would pay the final amount and either keep the car or sell it on for much more than £16.5k
