Boxster passenger seat leak
Discussion
Hi.
The alarm went off on my boxster this afternoon, and windows were open around 4" when I got into car to try and turn off, noticed rear spoiler fault on dash, and passenger seat carpet soaking. I've dried it out best I can, but see on forums there's a control box under seat, which if water damaged, sets off this chain of faults. What would my next step be in getting things sorted. It's a 987s. Thanks.. Andrew.

Remove seat, remove carpet, dry carpet, mop up, if it's the first time hair dryer or something to dry out the controller under seat. Maybe remove rear bulkhead carpet to dry. Identify leak, probably rear drains or split under clam foam, fix or clear drain holes, pour water to test fix. Pray and drive.
