Shout out required...

OH just organised a Zoom call with Pizza Pilgrims DIY "frying pan" pizza kits.

Brilliant stuff biggrin Great ingredients, easy to follow instructions, top notch end product (4 remote families with quality results).

No affiliation ohter than a happy customer smile

They look good but at £20 they aren’t cheap!

Made a few kits myself for friends during lockdown and they cost very little in terms of ingredients.

Frying pan pizzas are the way forward though unless you want to join us over on the Pizza Oven thread...

Pretty sure my OH paid £15...as you say, not cheap but the results were great.

I am now coming over to the pizza oven thread as the OH also bought me one of those biggrin

£15 plus £5 postage for a kit that makes 2 Margherita pizzas. They did well with it though, sold over 10,000 so far.

I spent £29.39 with ADiMaria and got enough ingredients to make around 40 of them. Proper 00 flour, fresh yeast, san marzanos and decent fior de latte

They used to have a recipe and directions for frying pan pizza on their website, made it a few times and really is so simple and tasty.

Only problem for me is proving the dough for long enough as our current kitchen is tiny. Moving soon and will have plenty space so will be on the menu far more regularly!

A friend of mine owns a pizza business (that uses a converted American van with a wood fired oven in) that was 100% based around events, obviously the current situation had an impact on this so they decided to do DIY kits based on their recipie that use the frying pan method.

You don't get a fancy box, a little pot of basil or a tiny pot of oil / seasoning, you just get quality dough (frozen), some great san marzano tomato sauce and some quality mozzarella, you can then add toppings that they source from a local butcher, really top notch stuff.

£20 for 20 margaritas essentially and still making a profit, Pizza Pilgrims must be absolutely laughing.
