Howdy all.

Got in my my head to go back to old school air. Always was torn between my favorite colour for this particular model
Usually One of the dark blues, midnight or iris, black or artic being near the top.. However, Speed Yellow was and always will be top dog.

Appreciate tracking one down in this hue, coupled with further criteria needed (mint, low miles etc) could prove tricky. How tricky, I'm not sure?

Am I able to determine how many 993 tt's were supplied in Speed?? Or indeed other shades - I believe you can find this info on the more modern 911's, but am perplexed if this applies to the older stuff regarding records held??

Many thanks

Have a chat with Lloyd Precious at DicK Lovett Swindon. They had a speed yellow 993 turbo I had a good look around. Its a good one. Was top money at circa £150-160k. At £120k I would have dealt. Don't think she sold.

Thanks IMI

Yes, I remember that one too. Was nice indeed.
Was first at Tewkesbury then Swindon Ferrari I think. As you say - big asking price

Any idea on breakdown of colours ???

Hopefully the owner might be on here and be able to give an insight into the car?

Sorry Jonny no idea on colours etc. I wouldn't have thought there would be too many C16 RHD 993 in SY. I know of a yellow turbo s at HWM but she's not as original as I'd personally like but at the right money worth a look buy the car not the dealer. HWM never going to sell her unless they get realistic about asking price which I doubt they will but maybe worth a call. May CV19 given them the short sharp jab they need to deal smile

Low mileage yellow 993 Turbo you say ?

How about this. ? I’ll admit the window tints aren’t for everyone but it’s only done 745 miles.

I'm not sure it's the windows that are the biggest issue ... yikes

He didn’t say anything about th interior smile I like the way whoever speeded it made it even worse by specifying wood in combination with that yellow leather.

I quite like the green interior, just needs a bit of black to break it up a bit. However, I've got form with bold interiors...

Yes, sad to see it go. Lost a few shilling but hey ho.... Fantastic car and not too many around like it (for good reason some might say)

745 miles!

I’m no mechanic, but isn’t that going to need all the cylinders lubricating and the engine turned over slowly by hand before risking starting the thing up?

I agree with the sentiment on the interior though. Here was I thinking that yellow belts and dials were a bit fussy. How can anyone think, ‘Yeah I’m really chuffed with that decision!’
