How much is it worth? SV1000 Classic

How do i find out how much a SV1000 Classic is worth (as much as someone is willing to pay), if i wanted to sell one?
Looking to speak to a few local dealers, and would like to have an idea on what i could get for it.

Had a scout around on Biketrader/MCN, and couldn't see one example.

I really have no concept of selling vehicles

eBay has a function in the filters to show completed/sold listings - that's a great way to get an idea of value.

IMO I don't think there is much of a collection market for the Classic specifically.

I don't think therefore they will be much higher than 'ordinary' SV1000.

Depends on the mileage and condition but if its used, say up to 30k miles, and tidy I would say £2.5k to £3k would be the range for a private sale.

Sounds fair, thank you. At least i know it's worth something, and can tell the low "best i can do is £1K" that I'm not entertaining that.
