Can anyone identify this car, please?

Hi All
My Dad is trying to identify this car, as part of his research into our family history. Any ideas would be very gratefully received.

I too thought that at first but details like the lack of indicators, wooden hood frame, windscreen shape, wheel & tyre size and the large (but not wooden) steering wheel make me think it is genuinely something old.
If it is a more modern car underneath then a lot of effort has gone into the details.

Some strange guesses here. It's almost certainly American, from the early 1920s. Could be Chrysler although the solid disc wheels suggest something cheaper - Dodge?

I was thinking American too, I'm fairly certain is not a Vauxhall - wrong shaped radiator surround, no fluted bonnet, differently shaped windscreen etc.

Would the steering wheel not be on the other side, if it was American? Or were they selling RHD cars over here back then?
