Hi I’m trying to remove the panel the cap era the wiper arm mechanism I have removed the 5 bolts that apparently hold it to place but it doents come off. My cerbera is a 98

BUT
These panels are differently anchored depending on the Year of your Cerb.
(Which is why there is silence, I think)

Mine is a 2001 and I've never had it off (Oooh, Mtron) coz it's partly attached with rivets, which I've never been desperate enough to grind off.

Mine is a 1998 and also riveted and never been removed.

Drill out the rivet at each end of the thin flat panel

Remove the rubber bungs in the front of the wiper box, there are fixings behind them

That's all I can remember for the moment

Take off the nuts from the wiper arm spindles, then remove the top panel that slides under the window seal. There's a screw or rivet at either end of this, under the seal. Then undo the 5 bolts that hold the wiper box to the body. They don't need to come all the way out - the wiper box has slotted holes and lifts upwards - so just slacken them off a good way. You also need to undo the strap that holds the wiper motor to the body. It need to be lifted up with the wiper box when removing.

Many thanks guys yes mine is riveted too and all bolts removed I ll tackle the rest when the weather allows or take to a garage
