Is it just me, or does the Kia UK website now llist a 39kWh version of the e-Niro? I thought we weren't getting the smaller battery in the UK.

I'm not convinced they'll get many takers when the longer range car is only £4k more expensive, mind.

I know what you mean. However, if the wait is much less than the dearer model they should shift their quota.

Saw mention of that a couple of weeks ago. Good that they're able to hit a sub £30k price point but it makes no sense IMO to drop from 3 to 2 spec to save £4k but lose 100+ miles of range, 67bhp and 2 on the 0-60 (smaller battery = weaker motor on all these Hyundai/Kia EVs), leather, power/heated seats, heated steering wheel, smaller screen, etc.

39kWh actually makes a lot of sense for a lot of people, and the spec is still pretty good. But I'd want it a lot closer to £25k to be worthwhile to me.
