what is a fair price for S2 in Italy ??

I bought one of the first S2’s in Italy (May ‘01) and must at this time sell the car (having been transferred to a country that will not permit Elise; having tried everything I can think of to import the car but just no way ).

I am trying to get a handle what a S2 with 21,000 km (Silver - Race Tech) should go for (never raced or wrecked always garaged... you know the normal treatment). I am not out to squeeze every Euro out of the car but want a fair price and have not really been able to get a feeling of the market.

over here in uk land i guess a good price will be around the 20k mark - but may sell at 19k

Thanks for the ideas. Italian dealers - well one must always be very careful. Plus there is only 1 Lotus dealer in Rome.

I have done some research and from what I can tell in UK or Germany the price you suggested fits but I don't have any reference in Italy. The market here is smaller and Lotus is just not well known. More than once I have heard “WOW Ferrari Lotus !”

I did some research and posted the car on http://uk.mobile.de but no luck.
