Having had about 30 of these and pushing an NA engine to 500hp after slapping some turbos on, I know just a little about these wink

Very cool. I bet the trip to mitsubishi wasn't cheap! What are your future plans for it?

One of those cars you don't see very often.

Much respect to you for doing the work you do.

Coolio! This looks fab. I shall go looking for your Supra thread.

As a person who mostly bothers minging ancient British or Italian heaps, I am a very late convert to the way of the Rising Sun, having bought a two thousand quid Mark 1 Toyota MR2 unseen via eBay two years ago, and having smoked about in a 2007 Nissan Skyline 350GT while I spent two years working on a small Caribbean island. My late brother had a very nutty Canadian spec Supra with all sorts of turbos and stuff and the effects of Toronto winters on its sills. I have finally learned why people love sporty Japanese cars.

Always loved these but always put off by horror stories of being total moneypits.

I regard all cars, old or new, of any kind, as total moneypits. Once you see them that way, it eases the pain. The trick is to find the moneypits that are fun moneypits.

Love these, especially the facelift like yours.

Is all of the active aero still in working order?

Love that. Always respected them back in the early 00s when I was into Jap stuff.

Have you seen the wheeler dealers with one in USA?

I was on a knife-edge of buying one of these - an original UK model with the pop-up headlights (I'm a sucker for those), but opted for my Subaru SVX instead (the horizontally opposed expensive mistress). Yours looks like a really clean example, hope you get to enjoy it post lockdown.

so nice to see an unmolested 90's Jap car

plates need changing in my eyes as those logos cheapen the whole car
