Hi all
Has anyone been on one of these , or, has anyone any comments on them?
I havent checked availability recently but it is an option that myself and the infinately better half, are considering for later in the year. Given my total lack of ability in and around the workings of the internal combustion engine :o I am attracted by the thought of having a mechanic on call !!

Get your name down, pronto! You WILL have a brilliant time - you WILL enjoy it more than any other driving experience - you WILL have a great time and meet loads of great people - and you WILL use your Griff to the very best of it's abilities for more of the time than you would think possible!
It is a total hoot from start to finish. Adrian, the mechanic, is fully trained in all matters TVR (and also Ferrari) and is an all round good guy. Your car will be safe in his hands.
This year promises to be even better than last year, judging by the itinerary. The only mechanical failures last year were on a Tuscan, which in fairness had only just been sorted a few days before departure, and were part of a different tale of woe. All the RV8 cars ran perfectly well throughout last year's hoon, as did all the other cars.
So get your deposit down NOW!!

That holiday sounds fantastic. I would be up for that but I've got to go to Thailand early next year to a mate's wedding. I wonder if I can talk Mrs, Grouch in going next year? She thinks the Griff is too "bumpy" for long drives.

Seriously though, it is the best 10 days you will EVER spend in your car. Nubbin, Dazren, and I did both the original 7 day Eurohoon (last september) and May's MiniHoon - both were, quite frankly, awesome.
Look forward to seeing you on the trip!
(PS: the excitement starts now - start buying yourself things for the trip, it's half the fun! Today I bought myself nearly £200 of bullet cam, all in the aid of EuroHoon)

looking forward to it already. My focus is more on utilising the available space correctly and persuading the IBH ('infinately better half') that we can't possibly take the space saver. Also we may have to forgo some of the super-car attractions in N Italy as a compromise arrangement...and visit some holiday-ish places instead (Balsamic Vinegar factory in Modena has been suggested). Dont say a word....
Still I have to arrange to get the monster in for a pre hoon service plus I want some heat shielding done around the manifold (way too hot in the cab for me). Also plan to take Steve Heath's list of spares as well.
