TVR build quality explained at Le Mans ;-)
Discussion
Camped nearby a group of lads, a couple of whom worked for TVR.
On day one they put up an absolutely pristine Gazebo, with all the bells & whistles including an immaculate navy canvas.
By Friday morning there were some build quality issues coming through and by the evening it was at a somewhat jaunty angle...
Early hours of the morning one of them managed to fall on top of it (may have had something to do with their "funnel" activities) and as he fell the Gazebo collapsed, fell onto the BBQ and caught fire. In the ensuing chaos one of them broke their leg.
By Saturday evening all that remained of their lovely Gazebo was a burnt out mangled shell, a pile of a rubbish and a French hospital wheelchair...

Someone needs to have a word about the quality of the Gazeebos the various garden furniture peddlers sent our way this year. In addition to this unfortunate mishap our own 9 x 3 Godzeebo was destroyed when a freak gust of wind (the Maison Blanche Tornado) lifted the whole thing up completely unannounced and threw it over our heads and tents and into the ‘Vette and T350 at which point it suffered extreme structural failures and was laid out for the pikeys. Shadeless Sunday was not a pleasant experience.
Be careful out there – Gazeebos may seriously harm your welfare!
