interesting prog yesterday about CO2 emmisions

Can't remember the channel.
Guy proposed solutions to CO2 emmisions and how the same people that want the emmisions cut are the same ones who don't want the solutions in place!
Make all Power stations nuclear - dont' want cancer.
Wind farms - but don't ruin the landscape.
More hydro in scotland - but you can't have power pylons.
Less cars, Busses are more poluting though,
etc etc etc etc.
Bit like them wanting cars to be really quiet at 30 MPH (remember ferrari's double exhaust system - to be quiet under 30MPH) then force drivers to drive bellow 30, and kids can't hear them coming anymore - BANG.

The nuclear powerplant ones the worst of all, its the cleanest form of power out there... until fusion of course, but damn, so some nuclear waste gets buried in a hole no one ever uses for thousands of years... so?
More to the point, I'm willing to bet currency that they solve the issue of buried waste in a few hundred years through technological advancement and greater understanding and knowledge and ability to control our surroundings anyway.
