Hi all, could I as a favour of any Rapide (S) owners. Could you measure your boot dimensions for me please - both parts separately if possible for enclosed back alone with partition up (max height too if possible is with boot closed) also the then luggage area between the rear seats and the partitioned boot.

Just trying to work out if I can get some of our camping kit in the back before pressing the button!

Its huge when you drop the rear seats!

From the manual, boot volumes:

223 ltrs std boot divider up
393 ltrs boot with divider down
1029 ltrs boot with divider down & seats folded down

Will try measure the dimensions you have asked for later, unless somebody else beats me to it.

I’m away sorry I can’t help. However I will say with the flap down, seat backs down. and also the parcel shelf bit out, If that makes sense out. You can get a large men’s Racing bike in no issue with the wheels on. And a load of luggage.

I would also recommend getting some hard wearing thick waterproof boot liners as the seat backs would mark/dent.

I’m sure I read someone even thought about making a template for a piece of ply and then facing it with leather and using it to place over the seats.

With the boot in normal mode, I find it’s probably no bigger than a vantage. Flap down gives you more room obviously. Full boot open it’s a very decent size.

Thanks folks - I really fancy a Rapide and would like to do some UK road trips with the family so we are trying to work out if we packed very carefully we could get say two nights worth of stuff in the car including a tent (plan is to still keep away from hotels and restaurants etc until this C19 thing is better managed). Therefore camping combined would be fun for the kids (think my Mrs will probably end up sleeping in the car as she doesn’t do camping).

I’d really like to get a roof box on top but I have never been able to find roof bars that fit a Rapide!

Look forward to those dimensions when you have a chance - really appreciated!

Hi I don’t own a rapide yet ! Looking hopefully very soon .
From what I have been told by AM the roof box /rail system that will only work is the SeaSucker system.
Lots of super car owners use them to carry boxes and bikes etc
