Looks like I have just bought one!

Have not seen it but owner has told me all I need to know.

Good deal for both of us and now arranging delivery.

Fingers crossed it all goes well!

There's a K1300R near me and the thing is like a cemtex missile. I imagine this will be just as capable and a little more practical. Enjoy!

Hurrah! I've had two of the S variant.

Has it got a nice full bmw history?

Full history and mostly at BMW with the last service in Mar 20.

28k miles.

Chap bought it from Sheldon Motorcycles in Mar 20 so I am hoping it is all good to go.

I bought it for £1400 less than he got it for!

Congratulations on the bike. I would suggest checking if you can take out the BMW extended warranty on it as that can be a worth while investment.

Check out www.eurokclub.bike for lots of useful information.

I had two K1300Ss on which I did over 50,000 miles each and loved every mile. I'm sure you won't be disappointed.

I keep forgetting to mention the site ha! Also yes I heartily recommend and enjoyed great value from the extended warranty. Although note the suspension drops out of cover at 30k miles. So if you have any paranoia post-coverage beginning, get it into BMW before 30k hits. I've fallen both sides of this limit and the time I was the wrong side it was quite spendy.

But I agree, overall great bikes, and black-k1 got a lot of use out of his!

Thanks for all the useful info.

Motorad warranty isn’t £35 a month which seems like money well spent.

I have always been a Honda man, which don’t really break(!), so a good warranty fills you with more confidence to just use the thing and rack up the miles!

Considered one when I bought my S1000XR. Awesome bike but at the time I didn't identify with the image.

A friend had a K1300GT and rated it very highly, higher than than the R1200RT, R1200GS and even the K1600GT, but I guess we all have personal preference.

I had a K1200R that was a great mid distance tourer, and was happy enough on trackdays that I did about 7 on it one year. I remember the gearbox being a little clunky like a lot of BMW bikes are reported to be, but the 1300 had several revisions so it's probably been ironed out.

I'm sure you'll enjoy it.

I don’t think it will arrive until tomorrow afternoon as being delivered by courier.
