I used to live in Germany and despite not being the most proficient speaker, I'm pretty confident that Erosrauch is not a real word (and what defines a real word in German is pretty ambiguous at time). I'm pretty sure that this comes from a book (written by an english guy) of made up German compound words. I have a copy somewhere that I bought for my wife when we first moved over there.

Ha ha yes that's the one. I'm almost certain that Erosrauch is one of his (especially seeing as eros doesn't translate directly in German anyway!)
