£4k budget, Japanese turbo manual car

I've been considering adding a 2nd car to my fleet for when my M5 is broken

I've been looking at Subaru Legacy's but they seem to be creeping up in value again. I know I could get and Impreza, but I don't really want one, but I cannot think what else is around?

Can anyone help fill my knowledge gaps please?

If it is, I wouldn't want one. I don't do SUV's / Estate cars generally.

You can get a ropey MR2 turbo but these are going up in value and a good one is around £7000 now.

Options are:

Subaru Impreza WRX
Mazda 6 MPS (4wd and pretty much an Impreza)
Mazda MX5 with a turbo

You won't get many powerfully RWD turbo cars for that price due to drift tax. Even 200sx are silly money these days.

You might be best looking at a 350z or something N/A than a turbo or even just accept a FWD or keep saving money.

I thought that but the reg looks like a 55, which makes it lower bracket.
