Just got my renewal quote from Lockton (now underwritten by AXA XL) and price is exactly the same as last year (which was my first year of having the car and therefore the Lockton/Chubb policy)

What have others seen out of interest?

Am waiting on mine. Tried to call them but difficult to get through. When is your renewal due?

Couple of weeks away. Had to wait quite a while for the documents.. was chasing for 3 weeks (well in advance) so really not impressed versus the level of service i'd received previously

I just had a call from them (I’d emailed asking) and I should receive mine this week. My renewal is not until early August and 3+ weeks in advance is fine in my view.

Yep, mine went from Chubb to AXA XL and, to the penny, the premium was the same.

Had you had a Chubb policy for more than 1 year and if so what did the numbers look like i.e. did it get cheaper over time?

My renewal was cheaper by £180 or thereabouts.
I've been with Lockton for 3 years.

I've been with Lockton and its predecessor over 25 years. 3 reasons my premium increases despite never a claim. A) IPT B) adding cars to the policy C) increasing values of old tin!

The comprehensive road risk element of my multicar policy is under 20% including simultaneous use, and the value bit at 2.6% seems reasonable to me

By the way, Lockton staff are all WFH, Toby somewhere in Sussex and Lucie in the Midlands

I’ve been with them for 2 years, and have found the communications/service to be excellent (and I’ve made some pretty annoying changes).

That's what NFU says the premium goes down each year yet mine went up by £100 so that was it.
