Remove NHS worker and maternity clothes and all you're really left with is - foolish person leaves shopping on seat of car and it gets broke in to.
It's pretty much the first rule of not making your car look appealing to thieves. Why not put it in the boot?
I suspect the incoming crowdfunding to pay for replacement clothes will be suitably generous.

Agreed, there's always scum, but that's also why people need to be vigilant.I can't even see what the value in taking the clothes was, but then criminals are probably desperate and anything is better than nothing.
It's being reported elsewhere that the clothing value is put at approximately £500.
Along with CCTV footage, apparently the intelligent thieves have left a cap behind which will be "examined by forensics", although unless this becomes a particularly high profile case I doubt whether it will be fast tracked to the top of the pile.
I feel sorry for her. She must have already had a pretty stressful few months without wasters breaking into her car.

I would imagine that the forensics will be a basic DNA swab and add to file and a quick look to see if mummy sewed in a name tag. When the evil little toe-rag is caught for something else (and they will be) then it will be an easy clear up statistic and "taken into account" at sentencing. Not that that will help the victim in any way,Along with CCTV footage, apparently the intelligent thieves have left a cap behind which will be "examined by forensics", although unless this becomes a particularly high profile case I doubt whether it will be fast tracked to the top of the pile.
