Hi, I am thinking of buying a 2004 Alfa Spider with 67,000klms on the clock, would you please tell me a few thing to lookout for when I have a look at the car. Also does this model have an electrically operate hood, or is it manual?
Thanks in advance

Thanks, that is exactly what I need. Do you know if it possible to retrofit an electric hood operation?

I wouldn't - it's one of the more problematic elements of the car!

The UK Phase 3 cars had that as standard (don't think LHD were any different), as far as I know it's only Phase 1 cars that (thankfully) had a manual roof.

Keep the manual roof, its lighter, quicker to put up/down and far more reliable. I'd gladly go manual on my P3 if I could.
