Wiper Blades for V8 Vantage S
Discussion
Hi All
I have used the search facility - but I haven't found an answer to my specific question.
When I bought my 2012 Vantage S (UK spec) last July, I found that the blades were no good - the driver's side wiper just didn't clear the screen properly.
So I bought a pair of Bosch Aerotwin blades - specifically A089S. However, these don't seem very good either. There's an area of the screen that they don't clear - just don;t seem to maintain a close contact with the screen - despite refitting several times and WD40'ing the hinges of the wiper arms to try to get them to push down more firmly.
Have I bought the wrong ones or did I just get a duff pair?
If I need something different, can someone advise on what make/model I should buy? Should I bite the bullet and get a genuine Aston set (or can these be bought on Amazon/eBay anyway)?
Thanks in advance.

Hi
If leaving a smeared patch it is probably a part seized pivot in the wiper arm
Ideally remove arm lube and work pivot so spring can tension against screen or put the wipers in the service position and again lube and work pivot
Ive had this issue on both drivers side my previous Vantage and current Vanquish and is likely caused by lack of use and them sitting in same position

Bosch Aerotwins have caused problems in the past
