Watch repair question..Accurist

Watch Repair question....I have an old Accurist Chronograph watch.
Used to wear it daily but I have been told by local repairer that watch needs new movement
Also told the UK Accurist repair company no longer support this watch.

Any Idea on how to get it going again?

Take the back off and see what make and model of movement is inside, then have a look on the cousinsuk.com website to see if it's still available.
If you can get a new movement, any half-decent watch repairer should be able to fit it.
