Recently I've noticed a water sloshing sound when I start the car. Seems to disappear or go less noticeable after I start the car.
Read about it online and its due to air inside the system, meaning there is a leak somewhere.
Checked the coolant reservoir, its below minimum marking.
Engine temp is normal. I don't see any puddles of coolant underneath my car. Where could this leak be or where is a good place to start looking.

Have you topped the coolant up? NB make sure the engine is cold before you open the cap!

There might be a procedure to bleed the cooling system but you’d have to look up the right procedure for your car.

Edit: I’ve never heard of air in the cooling system making a sloshing noise though.

Edit 2: I just saw your servicing thread. Did this start happening after you replaced the coolant?

No actually, this was one of the reasons why I wanted to flush the system. I got the car in March with around 58000 miles on it, I've done about 1300 since I Had it. I believe at the start when I got it the coolant was between the min and max, now it's about an inch underneath the minimum marking. I haven't topped the coolant up that will be my starting point.

Edit: Since there is air in the system, the coolant has a lot more space to slosh around and bounce around which makes that noise.

Update: Just flushed and filled the system with brand new coolant. While i was underneath taking the hose off to flush the system, I saw that my oil pan screws are stained pink, i looked up and the thermostat is leaking, not a lot, I would say I lost about 500ml of coolant over 3 months. How hard is the thermostat housing to replace?

The coolant reservoir is okay, it holds pressure.

Might put some rad weld to see how that goes.

Will do, ordered a new thermostat and thermostat housing.
